About MR Mediation Services

Two business people shaking hands

History and Evolution

MR Mediation Services was set up to provide an affordable solution to families going through separation or divorce.

Mitchell comes from a financial background where he was always the middleman helping two parties to come together and reach a negotiated agreement, first as a derivatives broker then as a business analyst with a software provider. Both roles required Mitchell to effectively bring two parties together with different interests and resources to find common ground and reach agreement.

Mitchell is a Family Mediation Council registered Trained Mediator who, after leaving finance, retrained to focus on helping couples going through separation or divorce to reach negotiated agreements, maintaining the highest standards of integrity, impartiality, and confidentiality

Our mediation process is designed to be as stress-free and effective as possible.

Our Services

When people come to the mediation process it is usually at a time of financial and emotional distress, often involving children.

Typically they will have issues to resolve around joint finances and will be looking for an alternative to the traditional expensive, time-consuming and unwieldy court process.

Mediation offers a lower cost, flexible and collaborative solution and, importantly, enables the parties to reach their own mutual agreements rather than having an outcome imposed by a court. Mediation keeps the decision-making process firmly in your hands.

We assist you in coming to a long lasting agreement that need not be expensive to achieve.

Mediation - Key Points

  •  Mediation is a non-adversarial alternative to dispute resolution
  • Mediation is a confidential and voluntary process where the outcome is in your control
